Is therapy for you?

Sometimes life is challenging, especially when it involves transitions,  and we have difficulty coping mentally and physically. Counselling provides a safe and confidential place to talk about life’s struggles, gain personal insight and develop ways to work towards solutions for these challenges.

How therapy online works

Sessions are typically 50 minutes and can be done in the comfort of your home. All you need is a phone, tablet, or computer. I use Doxy.me or Zoom for videoconferencing. Once we have booked an appointment I will send you a link that will take you directly to the online waiting room. eTherapy is simple and a secure process.

Fees range between €50-70 per session. Contact me for information about packages or book direct via Tinto.

My focus

I am available to meet with those struggling to manage their mental health, stress and life's ups and downs.

I have a background in perinatal mental health research and my counselling primarily focuses on those women and men struggling with concerns and challenges around conception, pregnancy, birth and postpartum and beyond.

My approach

I am continually learning new approaches to therapy. Every person is unique and my goal is to work with you to find the best way to help you find solutions. I believe in the value of using evidence-based techniques but in a way that suites you.

I am working towards becoming a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC) with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA). This means that I regularly meet with a professional supervisor to discuss aspects of my performance as a therapist and gain valuable feedback.

Ethics

When you begin therapy you are entering into a relationship built on trust and collaboration between client and counsellor where your confidentiality is ensured. I adhere to the ethical code of the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association found here.

Have questions?  We can set up an initial meeting, free of charge, for 10-15 minutes.
